The Kickstart Scheme facilitates horseracing businesses and charities to employ young people for free for six months, provided they are aged 16 to 24 and claiming universal credit.
The week, partially funded by the Racing Foundation and the first event of its kind, will see trainers across the country open their yards to the public.
The prizes have been donated by the fourteen Jockey Club Racecourses around the country including Cheltenham and Aintree and supported by local trainers and sponsors.
