A limited number of hospitality packages are now available to support the RoR Racing to Cricket day, which takes place on Sunday 5th September 2021 at the historic and magnificent private Wormsley Estate in Buckinghamshire. This unique fundraising day for RoR brings together supporters from the world of racing to play a fun cricket tournament on the ground created by the late Sir Paul Getty, often referred to as one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the world.
Eight teams playing under the names of Charlie Hills, Richard Hannon, Ben Pauling, Mick Channon, Nicky Henderson, Paul Roy, John Pearce Racing and a combined Newmarket team with George Boughey, James Ferguson and Charlie Fellowes will provide the afternoon’s entertainment, while there will be an auction and raffle during the lunch break to give those present an opportunity to show their support and raise money for the charity.
Guests will have the chance to bid on fantastic auction lots on the day, including a top lot of a quarter share in a racehorse, as well Centre Court seats at Wimbledon, the use of a private fully catered box at Ascot, VIP package to the Royal Ballet in Covent Garden, a case of vintage Chateau Lafite and also have the chance to win £2,500 worth of holiday vouchers.
Tables for eight people at £1,000 or individual tickets £125pp include top class hospitality with champagne on arrival, followed by a delicious buffet lunch with wine and later in the afternoon a traditional cricket tea.
