Horseracing MBA Open Evening on Thursday 13th June at the Liverpool Uni campus in London

The University of Liverpool is holding a free open evening to provide further information about the unique Thoroughbred Horseracing Industries Master of Business Administration programme.

This programme prepares students for leadership roles in the industry and the 2019-20 course will be delivered through a newly-developed blended learning format involving a mix of online and face-to-face teaching to enable students to remain in full-time employment whilst studying.

The Open Evening will provide those interested in the MBA course with the opportunity to:

  • Speak to current part-time and full-time MBA students and alumni.

  • Discover more about the range of generous scholarships available.

  • Hear about the specific horseracing content that makes the programme unique.

  • Meet teaching staff to discuss programme content and entry requirements.

  • Learn more about work based projects and opportunities to network with business leader.

The Racing Foundation is delighted to offer two charity scholarship places for the September 2019 entry. 

To qualify for a Racing Foundation scholarship students have to satisfy the university’s academic and admissions criteria but must also be a member of staff of a racing related charity and agree to write their final dissertation on a topic of direct relevance to their charity or to industry issues that may affect their charity. Charities represented, to date, include Racing Welfare, British Racing School, Northern Racing College, Retraining of Racehorses and British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre.
